This is the true story of what happened when I stepped off the traditional healing path and worked with a professional psychic medium for six months. She channeled the other side to help me understand WHY my mother abused me and why she was the way she was.

This is not a substitute for therapy, trauma treatment, or mental health care. If the material brings up distress or feels overwhelming, I encourage you to seek support from a licensed professional.

This collection is also not a directive to love, accept, excuse, understand, or forgive an abusive parent. It does not promote effortless forgiveness or reconciliation.

Finally, this work stays focused on the story at hand. It does not engage in whataboutery—redirecting attention to other harms, people, or experiences. Those conversations fall outside the scope of this work.

Across 53 years, I lived through many phases of being the daughter of a covert narcissistic mother, witnessing firsthand how self-gaslighting and maternal narcissistic abuse shift as both mother and daughter age.

Over the years, I saw her abuse take many forms—from subtle manipulation to calculated, sadistic abuse—revealing just how layered and horrible maternal narcissism can be.

Her cruelty intensified over time, especially toward the end of her life. During the six months I returned to live under my parents’ roof as their caregiver when the height of the covid pandemic was in full swing, I experienced abuse in ways that tested every part of me...and I FAILED. I ended up fleeing their home after those six months, having witnessed my mother at her absolute worst. I am a compassionate person by nature, but I couldn’t survive it anymore.

Volume 1 begins with the true story of those horrible six months. The terrible things I experienced, how it threw me into a deep depression, and eventually my decision to invest $10,000 to work with a professional psychic medium for six months to get the real answers about WHY she abused me and WHY she was the way she was. I asked all the hard questions and got true answers to everything.

Channeling my deceased mother’s spirit along with other spirits revealed even deeper layers behind what I lived. This perspective combines my lived experience of 58 years with insights most daughters never get to see.
